Eureka is a brand which is picking up steam quickly through Amazon and elsewhere.

Eureka is a capable and caring brand which has produced some solid, reliable cooker hoods. However, unlike a lot of other brands in my guide, not too much is known about them at present. A powerful island hood with a CFM of 900, this Eureka range hood is quite a bargain. It’s got 3 speed controls with a push button interface. The aluminum filters are dishwasher safe and easy to remove and reattach – no maintenance issues at all. The Chimney adjusts for ceilings of 8 – 9 feet and you’re going to receive a non-return air flap in the box (backdraft damper). The hood is sold with a 3 years warranty, which you should confirm before placing an order. The lights are not that bright, but you do have 4 of them – 20W each.

Quite a popular hood, probably because it is an under cabinet with a CFM of 900, not that easy to find overall good under cabinets with high CFM’s. It’s got a 4 speed electronic control panel which makes operating the hood a walk in the park. It does use stainless steel baffle filters which are also dishwasher friendly. It comes with a 3 year limited factory warranty. However, finding this product online is not easy as it doesn’t seem to be manufactured in bulk. As soon as it’s out on the market it gets sold out. Good luck finding it if this is what you want.

Despite its relative youth, Eureka’s products are picking up in terms of popularity. Their best-known range hoods are well-reviewed across Amazon, and what’s more, there’s a three-year parts warranty generally offered as standard. Their products aren't always so easy to spot online, but the ones you can find mostly arrive with good CFM and a variety of speed controls.

What’s also notable about Eureka’s range of hoods is the fact that low maintenance comes as standard. Many of their models are very easy to clean and clear. That means anyone on the lookout for a reasonably powerful, neutral aesthetic range hood will do well to hunt down a Eureka. At present, however, it’s not clear when their models will be arriving in bulk. There is also little information at the time of writing as to when more retailers will stock their range.

However, buying range hoods online is no longer considered risky. For a range hood or air circulation system that’s affordable and which packs a punch, look for Eureka.
